Just a quick post tonight, but last night I was putting my daughter to bed–usually Chris does this, but we are trying to switch over because if Chris does it, she can’t leave the bed (Daphne wakes up if mommy leaves, but not dad). Anyway, she fell asleep with me in the rocking chair and so I took her to bed and just had her lay on my chest and stomach for a while before putting her to bed.
It was VERY cool. I was laying there and thinking about it. MY DAUGHTER was taking a nap on me. It was so neat. I have a daughter (yes, she’s eight months old, but it’s still pretty cool and new to me) and she was blissfully sleeping away on my chest. Anyway, I just thought I would share that mushy dad moment.
